The Masons third league game of the 2007-2008 campaign saw the lads came back from being a very early goal down to defeat Roddymoor 4-1.

Roddymoors goal came from an early mistake from stand in keeper Chris Cook when he misjudged to let the ball go under him. Man of the match Justin Fox levelled the scores firing into the net after a poor clearance from the Roddymoor keeper. Liam McRoy then scored form the edge of the box after Jonny Pennock let the ball run through his legs from a corner. Minutes before half time Carl Tyers suffered a very bad knee injury which resulted in the Roddymoor player involved in the incident receiving a straight red card.

Against 10 men in the second half the Masons had plenty of the ball and went 3-1 up when Justin Fox shot into the top right hand corner from 25 yards. Goal number 4 saw Liam McRoy race clear to slot under the advancing keeper to complete the scoring.

For the second week running we have lost a player to injury and we all wish Carl a speedy recovery. Mind you he did squeal on a bit.
