TWO men convicted of the killing of a policewoman were due in court today charged with attacking a fellow prisoner in a North-East prison.
Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 26, from London, and Yusuf Abdillh Jamma, 20, of Birmingham, who killed Pc Sharon Beshenivsky during a bungled robbery in Bradford in November 2005, are charged with stabbing a fellow prisoner at high security Frankland Prison, near Durham City, in March.
The alleged victim was a 22-year-old who was serving a life sentence for murder.
They will appear before North Durham Magistrates, sitting in Peterlee, via video-link to face a charge of wounding with intent.
The hearing was due to be held last week but had to be adjourned because of the strike by prison officers
