Head praises hard work of students

A HEADTEACHER has congratulated his students on their GCSE success.

Graham Turner, from Bedale High School, North Yorkshire, said his pupils had achieved some outstanding results, with more than 66 per cent receiving at least five A* to C grades.

The results are the second best ever recorded for the school. Forty per cent of pupils received ten grades from A* to C, six achieved ten or more A and A* grades and one achieved ten A*s and two As.

Mr Turner said: "Congratulations to all our students and to the staff who have worked so hard to realise these results, and not least to parents."
