STAGE-STRUCK youngsters will present a show today, after only five days of rehearsals.
The group of 12 to 16-year-olds took on the ARClub Summer School Challenge to put on an all-singing, all-dancing performance of the children's classic Alice in Wonderland. The group will show off their results at the ARC, in Stockton, at 7.30pm tonight.
The challenge began on Tuesday and since then the young people have rehearsed and designed the set.
Coaching the group was Kelly Fairhurst, who has worked on TV shows such as Hollyoaks and Byker Grove.
The production was choreographed by local dancer Daniel Todd, who recently had a starring role in the Rufus Wainwright video Rules and Regulation.
Course leader Ms Fairhurst said: "Last year, the group met the challenge to put on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in two weeks and performed to a sell-out audience, so this year will really put them to the test."
Tickets are priced £5 from ARC on 01642-525180.
