A DOG that got its head stuck in a small hole in the wall of a house had to be rescued by fire-fighters this evening.
Crews were called to Queensway in Brunton Park, Newcastle, at around 7.30pm.
The dog, a ten-month-old Cocker Spaniel called Paddy, had its head stuck in the hole, that had been used as a tumble drier outlet.
Fire-fighters used a hammer and chisel to knock bricks out, making the hole bigger, so the dog could be freed.
The dog suffered no injuries.
