THE case against a man charged with animal cruelty, dog fighting and owning a banned breed of dog had to be adjourned because of a strike by prison officers.
Daniel Tate, 19, of Cresswell Road, Grangetown, Middlesbrough, was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, but the case was adjourned until Tuesday, September 4.
He is jointly charged with James Harland, of Lumley Road, Redcar.
