TWO notorious police killers charged with stabbing a fellow inmate in a North-East prison had their case adjourned today.
Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah and Yusuf Abdillh Jamma were due to appear before Peterlee Magistrates Court this morning, via a video link.
However, yesterday's prison officer strike meant Jamma was not moved to a jail with video facilities.
Shah, 26, and Jamma, 21, are serving life for murdering PC Sharon Beshenivsky, who was shot dead during a bungled armed robbery of a travel agents in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in November 2005.
They are charged with unlawfully, maliciously and with intent causing grievous bodily harm to a 22-year-old man in Frankland Prison, in Durham, on March 6.
The killers have since been moved to separate prisons - Shah to Long Lartin, in Worcestershire, and Jamma to Full Sutton, near York.
The case has been adjourned to Peterlee Magistrates Court on Monday, September 3.
