AN acclaimed chef is opening his second restaurant named after Captain Cook.
Neal Bullock won two AA rosettes for his first venture, Great Ayton restaurant Cook's Room and is hoping to repeat his success with Cook's Cafe, in Stokesley.
He has recruited a team to run Cook's Cafe. Head chef Mike Emerson previously worked at Lockwoods, in Ripon, and Chapter's Hotel and Deli, in Stokesley.
Graham Wrightson, who will be in charge of the front of house, is also formerly of Chapters.
"Cook's Cafe is very different to the Cook's Room in terms of the style of food that it offers, but it shares the same commitment to quality and excellent service that has become our trademark," said Mr Bullock.
"We are aiming to provide a dining experience that will appeal to the whole community from families, friends and 'serial lunchers', to those looking for a special but inexpensive night out."
Cook's Cafe is based in the building that was previously home to the School House Cafe. It is open from 9am until 10.30pm, seven days a week.
