AN amateur theatre company is teaming up with a charity in a fundraising concert of music.
The Riverside Musical Theatre Company, in conjunction with and Alzheimer's charity, will appear at the Osborne Club, Chester-le-Street, at 7.30pm, on Wednesday, September 26.
The concert is to raise funds for the theatre company and the charity.
Theatre company musical director Collin Galley said: "The music chosen for the concert will be performed by the theatre company and is a selection of popular show tunes and other music, with a selection of solos and duets performed by members."
There will be a bar provided in the function room of the club as well as a raffle.
The company, comprising about 35 members from all walks of life, is already making preparations for its Christmas concert.
Tickets for the next show cost £4 and are available from Mr Galley on 0191-385 2734 or from the Chester-le-Street branch of the Alzheimer's Society.
