THERE was medieval mayhem in one of the region's park's yesterday during the final day of a summer show.
The sunshine held out for hundreds of visitors to Preston Park, near Stockton, for the final of a three-day bank holiday celebration.
One of the highlights of yesterday's events was a medieval joust by The Devil's Horsemen.
The performers are a regular feature of the show, and tour the world.
The group is led by Frenchman Gerard Naprous, now based in Buckingham.
The horseman have also appeared in films such as The Da Vinci Code, Tomb Raider, Die Another Day and Harry Potter.
Other show highlights included a festival circus, falconry displays and a parachute display.
