FIRE crews attended two farm fires in North Yorkshire yesterday.
At 8.57am, a corn dryer caught fire at Hutton Conyers, destroying the corn inside and damaging the machinery.
Later in the day, 40 round bales are thought to have been set on fire deliberately on a farm at Bedale. Firefighters let them burn out while making sure the flames did not spread.
