FIRECREWS had to call for back-up after a blaze broke out in a two-storey workshop.
The incident occurred around 5.30pm on Monday evening at the premises in Front Street, Shotton Colliery.
An initial firecrew received assistance from a second unit, before it was decided that three tenders were needed to help quell the flames.
The property was severely damaged in the blaze.
