A TEENAGER has been charged with killing a man who died following a street attack on Tyneside.
Thomas 'Billy' Fellows, 51, suffered fatal head injuries in the incident in Wallsend, early on Saturday.
Jeffrey Gosling, 18, was initially charged with assault, but he was then re-arrested and charged with the manslaughter of Mr Fellows.
Mr Gosling, of Hazelwood Terrace, Wallsend, was due to appear at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court today.
Mr Fellows was walking to his house in Cheadle Avenue, Wallsend, from the Archer Street Club, which he had been running following the recent death of his father.
The engineer was married, with three teenage children.
