HE may only be pint-sized, but ten-year-old Reece Jaramillo is a force to be reckoned with.
A pupil at Coatham Primary School, Redcar, he is top of the form when it comes to karate - he has just become the youngest member of the Cleveland Karate Club to win a black belt.
Proud mother Michelle Moore said: "I think it's absolutely marvellous, especially with him being such a young age. They have to do about 70-odd movements, and he just soaks in all the information, like a sponge.''
Reece said: "When I got it, I was in shock - I did not think I would get the black belt.
"I enjoy karate and you learn how to defend yourself. I feel really tough.''
The youngster plans to gain higher grades, by training for his dans.
