DURHAM'S trophy-winning cricketers will be guests at Sunderland's Premier League match against Liverpool on Saturday.
Durham Dynamos won their first silverware since getting first-class status 15 years ago, defeating Hampshire at Lord's by 125 runs last weekend in the Friends Provident Trophy final.
Most of the victorious squad will parade the trophy on the pitch at half-time.
Niall Quinn, Sunderland's chairman, said: "It's great to have the lads from Durham here. It was a fantastic achievement by them and we congratulate everyone at the club."
The players due to attend are: Dale Benkenstein, Neil Killeen, Glen Killeen, Phil Mustard, Kyle Coetzer, Nigel Kent, Michael Di Venuto, Stephen Harmison, Ben Harmison, Liam Plunkett, Mitchell Claydon, Garry Park and Callum Thorp.
They will be joined by Durham's deputy chief executive Andrew Jarvis. Durham's Paul Collingwood, a big Sunderland fan, is on duty with England
