A CHARITY will hold its annual children's sports day in Richmond on Monday.
Richmond Duck Club will stage an afternoon of games on Richmondshire Cricket Club field, in Hurgill Road.
The event will be opened at 2pm by Mayor John Robinson, and will feature races for children from toddlers to under-14s. There will also be races for mothers and fathers and stalls and games.
During the afternoon, children from the town's junior schools will compete in a relay race for the Charles King memorial trophy, which is on display at the Duck Club's headquarters at the Board Inn, Bargate.
Children taking part in races must be accompanied by an adult.
