FREE computer courses, to help people find employment, start next week.
The sessions, which are aimed at computer beginners and held at Durham County Council libraries, aim to help people gain new skills or qualifications.
They cover letter-writing, job searching, compiling a CV and qualifications in numeracy and literacy.
The courses to be held on Tuesdays, from 9.30am to 11.30am, at Seaham Library, and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, at Horden Library, start on August 28.
They will also run from 10am to noon, on Wednesdays, at Murton Library; from 9.30am to 11.30am, on Thursdays, at Ferryhill Library; from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, on Thursdays, at Trimdon Library; and from 9.30am to 11.30am, on Fridays, at Thornley Library.
They courses are funded by the European Social Fund and managed by Durham County Council's Skills4Life Online project.
