TWO men have been charged with supplying ecstasy and cocaine following a nightclub raid.
Officers swooped at The Groove, in Spout Lane, Washington, Wearside, on June 9, with a warrent issued under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
James Duff, 19, from Chacombe, Biddick, Washington, faces four offences of supplying a class A controlled drug.
Thomas Andrew Hetherington, 28, of Kenilworth Court, Sulgrave, Washington, is accused of five offences of supplying a class A controlled drug and two offences of possessing a class A controlled drug with intent to supply, as well as possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both men will appear at Houghton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, August 30.
