TWO men have been charged with supplying ecstasy and cocaine following a raid at a North-East nightclub.
Officers carried out a search warrant, issued under the misuse of drugs act, at The Groove nightclub in Spout Lane, Washington on June 9.
James Duff, 19, from Chacombe, Biddick, Washington, has been charged with four offences of supplying a class A controlled drug.
Thomas Andrew Hetherington, 28, of Kenilworth Court, Sulgrave, Washington, has been charged with five offences of supplying a class A controlled drug and two offences of possessing a class A controlled drug with intent to supply as well as one offence of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both men will appear at Houghton Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 30.
