A TEENAGER had part of his ear bitten off when he was attacked during a night out in the North-East.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the young man was attacked in North Tyneside.
The incident happened at 1am on Saturday, August 18, when there was a report of a disturbance between two groups of men outside the shops at Station Road, Cullercoats, close to the Metro Station.
During the disturbance, a 19-year-old man was assaulted and had part of his ear bitten off.
Anyone who was in this area at 1am or witnessed the disturbance or assault is asked to contact North Shields CID on 08456-043043 ext 63145.
