FUNDRAISER: Businesses at Innovation House, Bishop Auckland, marked Armed Forces Day with a coffee morning, organised by the centre's landlords South Durham Enterprise Agency
THERE was coffee and cake all round when companies at a business centre got together to mark Armed Forces Day.
South Durham Enterprise Agency which runs Innovation House in Bishop Auckland organised the coffee morning to raise funds for two armed forces charity, Sporting Force and Changing Step North East.
Steve Robson, chief executive of the enterprise agency, said: “We are aware of the amazing work these two charities do with veterans in our area and it is a privilege to support them.”
The coffee morning coincided with an open day at the business centre. Visitors were able to take part in a cyber security workshop featuring a live hack demo. Greek street food was also served in the sunshine.
