THE medieval arts of falconry and archery will be demonstrated in the grounds of a 17th Century house at the weekend.
A birds of prey and archery day will be held at Kiplin Hall, Scorton, near Richmond, on Sunday, from 2pm to 5pm.
Visitors can try their hand at the ancient sport with the Company of Scorton Archers, and compete for a prize for best shot of the day.
In the walled garden, Val Dodsworth, of Fitzalan Hawks, will be showing birds of prey and ferrets.
Entry to the hall and gardens is £4.50 for adults, £3.50 concessions, £2.50 for children and £12.75 for families. Entry to the birds event is £1 for adults and 50p children.
