JOB seekers looking for family-friendly working hours can find their perfect new post at a recruitment event.
Durham County Council will hold a careers day at Bishop Auckland Jobcentre on Thursday, between 10am and 3pm.
The authority needs people to work in care services, cleaning and school crossing patrols and representatives will attend to discuss the different positions and hours available.
Jobcentre Plus advisors will be on hand to give tips on how to make a successful application, plus information on the financial support available to start work.
Applicants do not need any previous experience, just a genuine interest in working to help the local community.
For more information, contact Linda Hind, of Jobcentre Plus, on 0191-382-4143, or call in to the event.
