A PARK rocked yesterday as hundreds of music fans flocked to the launch of a festival.

Performers descended on Preston Park, near Eaglescliffe, to perform at Teesside Vibe. The event featured an impressive line-up of local rock bands and DJs, including deck masters Adam Jackman, Danny Whitehead and Andi Smith.

Youngsters were also kept entertained with a selection of stalls, games, rides, military vehicles and refreshments.

Organiser Dean Cruft said: "The whole idea was to give local musicians, who wouldn't normally have the chance to play in front of a large crowd, the opportunity to play their music to a wide audience."
