SEPTEMBER'S National Quaker Week will be marked by Darlington's Religious Society of Friends.
The society's meeting house, at 6 Skinnergate, will open to the public for worship between 10am and 10.20am on Thursday, September 27.
This will be followed by a coffee morning, at which visitors can learn about Quaker history and the contemporary movement.
People are also invited to attend an informal presentation on Quakerism at the meeting house at 7pm that day.
