WEEKLY drop-in financial advice sessions will begin at a community centre from next month.
Woodhouse Close Community Centre, in Bishop Auckland, will hold the sessions from Thursday, September 6, between 10am and 2pm.
The sessions will be run by Ian Sanderson, of Assist Financial Solutions, and can include help with filling in forms, benefit queries or financial advice.
Mr Sanderson said: "Debt problems through credit cards and loans are becoming an issue for more and more of us.
"You should not have to pay more than you can comfortably afford, and we can help get you back in control of your finances."
No appointment is necessary and the advice is free and confidential.
