POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fire was started at the back of the bus in Hartlepool.
The 7A Stagecoach service was parked at Middlegate, on The Headland, when the driver discovered the fire at about 2.50pm on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "Two boys, aged ten and 13, were arrested. They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
