TENANTS in Hartlepool are being given the opportunity to have their say on how the service can be improved.
During the first phase of the consultation, staff from Housing Hartlepool are in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre for people to discuss their views on the service provided.
Older people who live in the company's sheltered schemes will be consulted separately, next month.
Michael Cook, head of business support for Housing Hartlepool, said: "The organisation has an ongoing commitment to improving the services provided to residents, and we are taking this opportunity to speak to as many residents as possible and to ask them how we are performing and what we can do better.
"We are confident that the consultation will throw up some new ideas."
The purpose of the consultation is to adopt realistic and challenging standards for service throughout Housing Hartlepool.
The consultation at the centre started yesterday and continues today between 9am and 5.30pm.
