THOUSANDS of North-East teenagers will today find out how they have done in their A-Levels.
Results will be landing on mats this morning, sparking celebrations throughout the region.
City of Sunderland College, which has three jointly-managed sixth-forms - Bede Sixth Form Academy, St Peter's Sixth Form College and Usworth Sixth Form College - says its students have achieved outstanding results.
841 subject entries have produced an increased pass rate of 95per cent with those students obtaining the higher grades of A/B improving by five per cet on on last year.
14 subjects produced a 100 per cent pass rate, including Mathematics, Physics, Law and Business Studies.
