A MAN’S body has been discovered in the River Tees.
Emergency services were called to a stretch of the river close to Stockton’s Queen Elizabeth Way where they found the body at around 6pm on Wednesday.
The man is believed to be aged in his 50s and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
She said that the incident is not being linked to any missing person or the search for North Yorkshire farmer Paul Parvin.
