A YOUNG artist managing her own freelance graphic design business is producing work inspired by her North-East roots.
Abby Taylor, 24, graduated from the Cleveland College of Art and Design before developing her portfolio with pieces commissioned by organisations across the Tees Valley.
Ms Taylor, from Stockton, is now turning landmarks of her hometown into vintage style prints that are on sale in an indepedent bookshop.
She said: “Stockton is where I grew up and where I currently live so it holds a lot of dear memories for me.
"I was determined to pay my beloved town homage and decided to create an exclusive print, working with the same style of illustration that I have used for other clients, including Cleveland College of Art and Design and Hartlepool Council.
"Drake, a local independent bookshop, struck me as the ideal home for my prints. I went in and met with the owners, Richard and Melanie, proposed my idea and showed my work.
"When I asked if they would be interested in stocking artwork that depicted locations in Stockton, they said yes, and I was over the moon."
