RECORD crowds descended on east Cleveland for a town's third crafts and produce show.
The show, held at Sunnyfield House and organised by Guisborough Town Council, attracted nearly 350 entries.
Councillor Mike Kilby said: "The quality of entries in every section was even better than last year, and the vegetables and flower displays had to be seen to be believed. The craft and children's entries were exceptional but, unfortunately, only the judges got a chance to taste the baking entries."
He added: "With so many local groups in the town, we had hoped for more flower displays, arts and craft entries in our show. But, hopefully, some of them will take part next year."
A trophy was awarded to the best entry in each of the 12 sections, with the children's (14 and under) award going to Molly Glass.
Heather Barker presented the Ken Barker Memorial award, for the best council allotment, to Mr and Mrs Grout.
Most of the entries were donated for a fundraising auction, which gathered more than £91 for the town mayor's charities.
The main trophy winners were: Master gardener - 1 Steve Wright, 2 Jeff Osborne, 3 Barry Nicholson; master baker - 1 Marjorie Osborne, 2 Maurice Dunn, 3 Sue Scott; master craftsman - 1 Beverley Drummond, 2 Cheryl MacFarlane.
Winners in other categories: Garden produce - Jeff Osborne; onions and leeks - Steve Wright; soft fruits - J Smiles; cut flowers - J Hart; pot plants - J Hart; flower artistry - Sue Osborne; home baking -Dorothy Dixon; photography - Ian Jones; art exhibit - Edna Wood; needlecraft - J Hart; handicraft -Howard Christon.
