A SECOND man has been arrested following the death of an amateur rider outside a North-East nightclub.
Michael Parkin, 30, died outside The Deck nightclub, near Redcar seafront, east Cleveland, in the early hours of July 29.
A 41-year-old Redcar man was arrested on July 29 on suspicion of murder and has been released on police bail.
But Cleveland Police today confirmed a second man, a 30-year-old, from Redcar, had been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently helping police with enquiries.
Father-of-one Mr Parkin, from Dunsdale, near Guisborough, east Cleveland, was found on the opposite side of the street to the club.
