A CELEBRITY ghost hunter is coming to Stockton in support of Age UK Teesside.
Most Haunted Live medium and exorcist, Ian Lawman will embark on a ghost hunt at the town’s historic Preston Hall Museum.
The Living with the Dead star will lead local paranormal team Super Spooks through the various locations within the hall and surrounding Victorian street.
Simon Hunter, founder of the paranormal group, said: “The event gives us the ability to reach into the past, we’ve been working on and off with charities for 10 years and just want people to enjoy the night.”
The ghost hunt will take place in the former mansion which was erected in the 19th century and then later transformed into a museum in 1953.
Participants are being asked to raise sponsorship money to support the work of Age UK Teesside, a charity which helps older people across the region.
The ghost hunt takes place on April 28 at 7pm, paranormal enthusiasts will be divided into groups, and sent to explore the supposedly haunted museum.
A spokesperson for Age UK Teesside said: "We are very excited about our ghost hunt in Preston Hall, this is the first time in five years that Ian Lawman has come to Teesside to lead a ghost hunt.
“The newly renovated Preston Hall with its fantastic Victorian street and historic collections is the perfect venue.”
