THERE was no change at the top as the four teams separated by three points all won.
Tynedale retained their one-point lead, beating struggling Sacriston by five wickets. Stuart Graham (4-50) limited Sacriston to 180-8 before Scott Kay (70) top scored to give Tynedale victory. Sacriston's Harry Hubber claimed four wickets and was his team's top scorer with 39.
Leadgate maintained second place with a five-wicket win at Shotley Bridge, who were bowled out for 129. Neil Broome and Dave McCabe each picked up three wickets, then Lee Innes made 57 to see Leadgate home.
Swalwell moved into third place just above Lintz after a very impressive win over Annfield Plain. Dave Rutherford (4-18) and Stuart Pattison (3-34) combined to send the Plain packing for just 104. Swalwell lost just two wickets in passing the target.
Lintz look to have ended Ashington's hopes of a late championship challenge in another of their nerve-tingling victories. They won by two wickets after being set to score 185 after an unbeaten 63 from Mark Levinson. But Paul Lumley (49) and Tim Hughes (30) came up trumps for Lintz, who also had batting contributions right down the order.
Anarud Singh hit a century for Benwell and Walbottle and then took three wickets for a remarkable win over Percy Main. His 125 was achieved even though his team were bowled out for only 150. Naz Rashid (5-43) then proceeded to take out Main for 112 for victory by 38 runs.
