POLICE have released this picture of a man who stole an expensive vacuum cleaner from the B&Q store in Bishop Auckland.
The man went into the store, on Hardisty Drive, at around 4pm on Saturday, June 23.
While the checkouts were busy, he walked past with a Dyson cleaner on a flat trolley, talking on his mobile phone at the same time.
He is white, around 35 years old, stockily built, 5ft 9ins tall with short brown receding hair.
He was wearing a khaki- coloured jacket, grey T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who recognises the man or can give police information is asked to telephone the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800-555-111.
