POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of a mechanical groundbreaker from the driveway of a house.
Two men arrived at the house in Bourne Lea, Shiney Row, on January 23 and told the owner they were there to collect it.
When the householder went to check with the builder, they put the £3,000 machine on a white pick-up and left.
The first man was white, 5ft 9in, in his late 20s or early 30s. He had short dark hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a dark jumper with a white logo on the front.
The second was white, shorter than the first, with dark short hair. He was wearing a washed- out blue sweatshirt, light trousers and light work boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
