A WOMAN biker killed when her 850cc three wheeler drove straight over a junction near Wolsingham, County Durham, early yesterday morning has been named by police.
She was one of three people killed on the regions roads over the weekend.
Jane Boyd, aged 50, from Stow, near Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, had been camping with her partner at a bikers' rally in a field near Fir Tree.
Her trike smashed into a road sign on the B6296 at Redgate Head.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the tragedy to come forward. It happened sometime between midnight and 2am, although it was not reported until 2.40.
