THE 47th annual Harrogate Allotment Show is expected to be the biggest ever held.
The event, between 11am and 4.30pm on Sunday, August 19, at the Sun Pavilion, in Valley Gardens, is being jointly organised by Harrogate District Allotments and Gardens Federation and Harrogate Borough Council.
Many allotment holders will show off the fruits of their labours, to be auctioned at the end of the event.
There will be a gardeners' question time, stalls selling produce, children's events, live music from the Dixieland Jazz Quartet and afternoon teas.
A borough council environmental team will offer information on renewable energy.
Entry is free but the organisers are raising funds for Henshaws Society for Blind People.
