FIREFIGHTERS have shared dramatic photographs of a large taxi on fire.
Fire crews from Crook were called out to the incident at Billy Row near Crook at about 6pm Thursday night and arrived to find the vehicle well alight.
The firefighters used hose reels to tackle the blaze. Thankfully, no-one injured.
Durham Police also attended the incident in West Terrace. A spokeswoman said the fire was not believed to be suspicious.
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service posted pictures of the incident on Facebook this afternoon with the hashtags #EveryDayHeroes #SnowDoesNotStopUs
