RARE Second World War RAF clocks and a ceremonial wooden head are among the highlights of an upcoming sale.
Tennants Auctioneers in Leyburn are holding a Militaria and Ethnographica sale of tribal art from the South Seas.
A rare Second World War RAF observer corps electric sector clock and synchronome electric master clock from 1943 and 1940 have an estimate of £3,000-4,000.
Also of note is a late 19th or early 20th century Batak ceremonial wooden head with an estimate of £800-1,200.
They were used to represent a deceased ancestor and paraded around the village during funeral rites.
A dark hardwood ancestor figure from the same era, possibly from Lake Sentani on the northern coast of New Guinea, has an estimate of £400-600.
The sale will be held on Wednesday, December 13.
