SECONDARY schools around Darlington will be opening their doors to potential new starters this month.
From Monday, the eight schools will invite parents and children to tour their facilities, find out what the school has to offer and allows them an opportunity to ask questions.
The aim is to help parents decide which school would be the right choice for their child.
Carmel College is open on Monday, September 11 from 6.30pm, Longfield Academy on Tuesday 12th from 6.30pm, Polam Free School on Wednesday 13th from 5.30pm, Wyvern Academy on Thursday from 1.45pm and again from 6.30pm. Haughton Academy is open from 6.30-8.30 on Monday, September 18, St Aidan's from 5.30pm on Tuesday 19, Hummersknott from 6.30pm on Wednesday 20th and Hurworth from 5.30pm on Thursday 21.
