A RECENTLY opened restaurant has been included in one of the leading UK food guides.
Rascills in the village of Raskelf, between Thirsk and Easingwold, has been included in the Good Food Guide 2018.
The farm-based venue was opened just ten months ago by Richard and Lindsey Johns, who spent 11 years in East Yorkshire owning and running Artisan restaurant in Hessle.
They are the sole workers for Rascills - where Richard is chef and Lindsey oversees front of house.
Artisan was a Top UK 100 restaurant, and was named Yorkshire restaurant of the year and Good Food Guide restaurant of the year.
They hope that they can have similar success after taking the risk and relocating to a new venue.
