A PACKET of potentially dangerous medication has been lost in Middlesbrough.

Police are warning members of the public to keep an eye out for the Pregebapatin 300MG capsules, which were in a white and red package.

The drugs were lost at around 6.30pm yesterday somewhere along Acklam Road, near to Acklam Cemetery or on Heywood Street leading to the footbridge over the A66 at Ayresome Grange Road towards Teesside Park.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "The medication could be extremely dangerous and could have life threatening consequences if taken by anyone other than the person they were prescribed for and anyone who finds the drugs is asked to hand them in to any pharmacy, police officer or police station."

Anyone who finds them is urged to take them to a pharmacist.
