TWO men are being hunted by police after threatening shopworkers with a screwdriver before stealing cash.

The robbery occurred at Lifestyle Express on Burns Road in Teesville, Middlesbrough on Thursday, August 31 at 8.50pm.

Two men entered the shop and threatened one of the staff members with a screwdriver and then stole a quantity of cash.

The first suspect is described as being a white male with a slight tan, between 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall and he was wearing a navy blue shiny hooded jacket.

The second man is described as being a white male, between 20 to 25-years-old, of slim build and he was wearing a grey and black hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers.

Following the robbery the suspects are believed to have left the scene on bikes and they headed towards Grangetown.
