OFFICERS are appealing for information following two burglaries in Sedgefield.
At around 11.45pm on Tuesday, August 29, and 2am on Saturday, September 2, two men wearing balaclavas forced their way into the Co-op.
On the first occasion, the suspects did not make off with anything, but on the second occasion a quantity of cigarettes were stolen.
A police spokesperson said it was believed a brown 52 plate Hyundai Getz might have been involved in the incidents.
Anyone who witnessed anything, or has any information about cigarettes being sold is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting reference DHM-30082017-0067.
