A DATE has been set for a trial of a man accused of a knife murder in Darlington.
David Jeet Saunders, 32, appeared at Teesside Crown Court today via a live video-link from Durham Prison.
He pleaded not guilty to the murder of Michael Lawson, 34, in Geneva Road on July 1.
Judge Stephen Ashurst set a date for the trial, which is expected to last six days, for December 4.
Mr Lawson is said to have suffered a fatal stab wound following a fight in the early hours.
Mr Saunders, 32, of Esk Road, Darlington, was remanded further into custody until his trial.
