A TEENAGER has been injured after a dog bit him while he was riding his scooter.
The 18-year-old was riding his scooter through Newton Aycliffe Skate Park, on Burn Lane, when the dog, described as a black Patterdale Terrier, bit him on the back of his calf.
The incident happened at around 10.20am on Saturday, August 19 and the victim suffered minor injuries.
The animal, which was on a lead, was being walked by a man believed to be in his 50s or 60s which the police are keen to trace.
He is described as being around 5ft 9in with black/grey hair and of slim build.
