ORGANISERS of a market town's monthly food festival are hoping to make canine visitors feel extra welcome.
The Full Moon Market, a street food event which is held every month around the time of a full moon, will be coming to Bishop Auckland, tomorrow (Friday, September 1) night, from 4pm until 9pm.
As well as providing a diverse range of food and drink vendors, there will also be live music performances throughout the evening.
Tim Harris from Husse Pet Nutritionists will be catering for visitors’ dogs with not only a range of canine edible treats but also Doggie drinks like ‘Pawsecco’.
Colin Wilkes, managing director of Durham Markets which operates Bishop Auckland Market, said: “The last Full Moon Market in August was fantastic."
He added: "We were struck by how many of our visitors took the opportunity to come out with their dogs, so decided we should provide for them as well.
"We are hoping to cater for all canine tastes with doggie treats as well as drinks, so they don’t feel left out."
“If you’re heading to Kynren on Friday, or just fancy something different for your evening meal, then bring family, friends or colleagues along to the Full Moon Market. It’s a really welcoming and enjoyable event for all ages.”
