A HELICOPTER and ground search was launched by police last night after a woman was reported missing from her home in Northallerton.
North Yorkshire Police received a call at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night reporting that a woman in her 20s was missing.
Officers conducted enquiries and searches on the ground and there was also assistance from the NPAS helicopter (National Police Air Service) in the early hours of the morning.
The missing woman was found safe shortly before 3am on Wednesday.
